My name is Jeremy Ross and I’m a Mexican/American artist who combines the delicate dance between words and pictures to create unforgettable stories to inspire the imagination of young readers.
I enjoy creating artwork using both traditional and digital art making techniques, such as cut paper, digital collage and messy pencil drawings. During my free time, I volunteer for Make a Wish Foundation for the Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana Chapter creating custom-tailored art for amazing children with critical illnesses. I live with my wife & daughter in Houston, TX, along with a yappy yorkie, a tenatious turtle, 2 rambunctious rabbits and 3 gallivant guinea pigs (all adopted). We are also a proud foster for re-homing guinea pigs and helping them find loving homes. I’m an active member of SCBWI.
I also have a Newsletter on Substack titled, Just One Thing!, where I share my thoughts on illustrating and writing Picturebooks, including my personal journey and lessons I’ve learned along the way.
Please consider subscribing to Just One Thing! to stay informed with book news, launches, art tips, and helpful lessons. |
